Candellila wax with xylitol makes Eco Friendly Humble Dental Floss strong and shred resistant, making it easy to guide between teeth, while the xylitol helps to stop bacteria that cause decay sticking to your teeth and causing tooth decay and gum inflammation. Flossing and interdental cleaning aims to remove plaque biofilm from the tooth surfaces your toothbrush can’t reach. This is key for gum health and preventing cavities. Floss is best suited to cleaning teeth with healthy gums or where contact points are too tight and interdental brushes don’t fit. Healthy gums don’t bleed. If your gums bleed when you floss or clean between teeth, don’t stop! The bleeding is a sign of inflammation and is related to the bacteria in the plaque left on the tooth surfaces between teeth. Over a period of a couple of weeks daily flossing you should notice this stop. If it doesn’t in spite of your best efforts contact your oral health coach or dental team for assessment of your gum health.

Fluoride helps to protect teeth from tooth decay, acid erosion and helps control sensitivity. Spit out after brushing but don’t rinse – let the fluoride work for longer.
