Parents should brush or supervise their children tooth brushing until around age 8 years. Brush last thing at night and one other time every day. Use a fluoride toothpaste. Over 3 years use a pea sized blob with at least 1350ppm fluoride. Children should spit out after brushing but not rinse all the paste away. That way the fluoride in toothpaste will work for longer.
