This First Baby Toothbrush by Brush Baby is a great start for cleaning little teeth. Start brushing as soon as there is any sign of a tooth erupting into the mouth. Usually around 6 months – but there is a big variation!
This brush is perfect for grown up hands brushing baby teeth. It has a decent sized handle with a tiny brush head which is perfect for using the recommended smear of toothpaste with at least 1000ppm fluoride.
Use the First Baby Toothbrush dry with a smear of fluoride paste. Brush every surface of all teeth. No need to worry about rinsing or spitting – just wipe any dribbles off the chin.
Brush last thing at night and one other time every day. If you are breast feeding and find baby falls asleep at the breast just brush as close to the final feed as possible – don’t waken baby to brush. As baby grows you will be able to incorporate bedtime brushing into the usual bedtime routine.
After brushing rinse the brush under running water to remove any excess toothpaste then nip the bristles together to help keep their shape. Store upright out of contact with other brushes.
