Piksters Orthodontic Care Kit

The Piksters ortho care kit is a key ingredient in your journey to a straight smile.  Look after  your braces and our teeth to ensure a beautiful, healthy smile.  Orthodontic treatment should start with good oral health which includes excellent daily oral hygiene. An orthodonitc appliance adds a new complexity to cleaning teeth and gums and keeping the mouth healthy.

You probably have been given advice on how to care for your braces. This ortho care kit equips you with all the tools you need to ensure at the end of treatment you only end up with a super straight smile and not cavities or gum problems. You need to take extra time to clean thoroughly at least twice a day – along the gum line and every surface of all teeth above and below brackets/wires,. After brushing spit out toothpaste but don’t rinse all the toothpaste away unless you have been advised to with a fluoride mouth rinse. We usually recommend a fluoride mouth rinse used at a different time to toothbrushing to maximise the benefits of each oral health product.

If your mouth is sore when you first have your appliance placed you may find that Gingigel first aid will help with any ulceration/soreness.

Kit contains

• 1 X Piksters Ortho Toothbrush
• 1 x Piksters Ortho Wax
• 1 x Mini Gorilla Floss
• 1 x X-Threader
• 1 x Adult Freshmint 25g Toothpaste with 1450ppm Fluoride
• 1 x size 1 Piksters Interdental Brush
• 1 x Mirror

Clean thoroughly every day. With orthodontic appliances this will take longer than the recommended 2 minutes. Brush around the gum line with toothbrush and toothpaste. Every surface of all teeth. Spit out after brushing but don’t rinse all the toothpaste away – let the fluoride work to harden tooth surfaces to protect against tooth decay.

Brush at least twice a day – last thing at night and at least one other time.
