The Sensitive Clean Replacement Head provides gentle yet thorough cleaning. It has Indicator® bristles which fade halfway, to signal when to replace the brush head. This brush head is ideal for Oral B rechargeable toothbrush users who have signs of tooth wear around the gum margins and/or any sensitivity. A softer head is indicated after oral surgery, or for those patients undergoing medical therapy, which may have an impact on their mouth e.g. radiotherapy, chemotherapy etc.
When using the Sensitive Clean Replacement Heads there is no need to wet the brush head before use. Use a pea-sized blob of toothpaste. Don’t turn on until the brush is inside the mouth (there will be messy consequences!). Place toothbrush bristles on the area where the tooth and gum meet. Hold in place for the count of five then move onto the next tooth surface and repeat cleaning every surface of each tooth.
NB – Thorough toothbrushing takes time – an electric toothbrush does not clean faster but evidence supports that they are more effective than a manual toothbrush in the same hands. After brushing spit out but don’t rinse.
