Dummy Tree Card

This Dummy Tree card can be used to encourage owners to part with their dummy/s. We love to receive dummies but also know how expensive postage is – so please feel free to use the card when you accept a retiree dummy!

This digital download can be printed on A4 paper then folded in 4 to create a card which is given to the child donating their dummy.

Did you know we have a Growing Smiles Dummy Tree? Yes, it really is a tree! We love to give dummies/pacifiers a ‘retirement’ home when out smaller clients are giving up the habit of dummy/pacifier use.

The Dummy Tree is calling all dummy owners! Make your dummy happy. Let it retire with friends on the dummy tree!

For healthy mouths and teeth, aim to stop thumb sucking or dummy use by 12 months and certainly be 3 years. This is important for speech development as well as oral health.

Excessive thumb/dummy sucking can slow down speech development and can severely affect teeth development especially the front teeth. How much impact is largely dictated by how often and for how long ‘something’ is sucked.

So make those growing smiles happy and send us your dummy to add to the tree! We understand it is a big undertaking to give up a dummy and appreciate that it can cause worry about where it goes and what happens to it – we aim to make it a little easier! While we would love you to post your dummy to us (we love adding dummies to the tree) we understand that posting a well loved dummy is costly. If your little one needs a little encouragement to part with their dummy/pacifier please download and print out the card.

We have a number of playgoups/preschool groups who collect dummies then send to us. This is more cost effective. We will happily take a photo of dummies on the tree.
