Toothbrush heads should be replaced when bristles splay and look worn. Approximately 3 months regular use.  They will not clean as effectively. 

Take care of your brush. After brushing rinse under running water and shake off excess. Nip bristles together to help retain shape and store upright, uncovered, out of contact with other peoples brushes.
