About Biosmalto Remineralising Toothpaste
Biosmalto remineralising (CA & E – Caries, Abrasion & Erosion) toothpaste is part of an original system that helps prevent tooth decay/dental cavities (dental caries) and tooth erosion, and abrasion (tooth wear) by making the tooth surfaces more resistant to acid attack.
We recommend using Biosmalto toothpaste along with Biosmalto Impact Action Mousse for maximum protection and benefits.
- Contains Fluoride 1450ppm
- Low abrasiveness < 56

How Does Biosmalto Toothpaste work?
- Biosmalto remineralising toothpaste slows down dental plaque developing.
- Remineralises (rehardens) early signs of cavities/decay. e.g. white spot lesions
- Protects against acid attacks from cavity causing acids as well as those involved in acid erosion and tooth wear.
- Prevents sensitivity.
The innovative FUNCTIONAL SUBSTANCES in the Biosmalto range are based on biomimetic, biocompatible and bioactive materials that promote the remineralisation of enamel( the hard outer surface of the tooth you see in your mouth) and dentine (the layer underneath enamel which makes up the largest bulk of the tooth and may be sensitive).
The two functional substances contained in the Biosmalto toothpastes encourage a new mineral phase that is more resistant to the attacks of acids and mechanical damage (abrasion e.g from over enthusiastic toothbrushing). These substances increase decay resistance, slows sticky dental bacterial plaque forming, promotes hardening (remineralisation) of hard tooth surfaces (enamel and dentine), protects against cavities and acid erosion. The Sensitive toothpaste has potassium salts which helps manage sensitive teeth.
The bio -active complex unique to Biosmalto: mixture of hydroxyapatites.
Partly replaces hydroxyapatite with Magnesium, Strontium and Carbonate combined with Chitosan. The Chitosan helps release the active ingredients – Carbonate, Magnesium, Strontium and Fluoride onto tooth surfaces.
How to Use
