About Oral B Interspace Heads
The Oral B Interspace Head is specifically designed to clean around dental crowns and bridges the Oral B Interspace tip is also very effective at plaque biofilm removal on dental implants and orthodontic appliances.
How to Use
- The tip is used dry before brushing and placed around the margins of the crown/bridge/implant and the gums. Take time to locate the tip on all surfaces of the dental restoration.
- To use around fixed orthodontic appliances (braces) move the tip around the brace/bracket to contact all surfaces on each tooth.
- Follow use of the Interspace tip with the round oscillating rotating head and a pea-sized blob of toothpaste.
- Place brush on each surface of every tooth, inside, outside and biting surfaces letting the oscillation/rotation do the work, (it may be boring but it will do it more effectively than a manual toothbrush in the same hands!).
- Spit out afterwards but do not rinse – get the maximum benefit from your toothpaste. If using a mouth rinse – use at a different time to toothbrushing.
How to Care for Oral B Interspace Heads
- Rinse under running water and nip bristles together to help maintain the shape. Store out of contact of another person’s oral hygiene aids.
- Replace tip when bristles are splayed out.
