Struggle to floss under implant retained denture, around braces, under a bridge or somewhere where you can’t pass the floss between the contact point between teeth? This is for you! implant and bridge floss doesn’t always fit the bill. It may be the ends soften to quickly or its too short. Using a floss threader allows you to select your favourite floss and thread it where you want it to go. Use any floss from waxed, unwaxed, tufted etc. You might even want to use knitting yarn if you need something a little thicker to sweep away plaque. Once you get the hang of these your oral hygiene will go to a new level.

Use Gum Floss threaders  to clean between before you brush your teeth. Unless you have been advised otherwise by a dental professional, floss/clean between teeth first, then brush your teeth with a fluoride toothpaste. Spitting out after brushing, but not rinsing will give maximum opportunity for the fluoride (and other ingredients e.g. for sensitivity), to work. If you use a mouth rinse – check  with your dental professional when best to use  – it does depend on what you are using/why you are using a mouth rinse and your personal risk of dental disease.
