Biosmalto Impact Action ACP Mousse is 50mls of remineralising power to protect tooth surfaces and control early signs of tooth decay and tooth wear.
Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP) QUICKLY CONVERTS into hydroxyapatite remineralising tooth surfaces. We recommend to use with Biosmalto toothpaste for maximum protection and benefits.
Developed by Curasept through 7 years of research, Biosmalto remineralises and strengthens the enamel with an innovative formula containing substituted hydroxyapatite. Ideal for preventing and treating early tooth decay/cavities, as well as those at risk of tooth wear e.g. acid erosion and abrasion.
The Biosmalto impact action mousse consists of a phase of ACP which is enriched with fluoride, carbonate and externally functionalised F-ACP complex. F-ACP is a highl reactive amorphous material that is quickly converted to hydroxyapatite which is a key part of enamel and dentine.
In contact with saliva the particles dissolves immediately, release the active substances which then penetrate damaged (demineralised) areas of the tooth surface. The surface forms a new mineralised surface. The particles also penetrate the dentinal tubules to help with tooth sensitivity. The fluoride in the complex promotes fluorapatite formation which makes the tooth surfaces stronger and more resistant to acid attack – preventing tooth decay and tooth wear.

The innovative FUNCTIONAL SUBSTANCES in the Biosmalto range are based on biomimetic, biocompatible and bioactive materials that promote the remineralisation (re hardening) of enamel (the hard outer surface of the tooth you see in your mouth) and dentine (the layer underneath enamel which makes up the largest bulk of the tooth and may be sensitive).
The three functional substances of CURASEPT BIOSMALTO feature the same chemical, physical, morphological and mechanical properties as the biological structures found in nature (enamel and
dentine) and can stimulate, in a physiological environment, similar processes to those occurring in the presence of natural biological tissue, thereby promoting the remineralisation (rehardening) of initial cavities, what are sometimes referred to as white spot lesions.
How to Use
It can be applied with a single tuft brush, a soft toothbrush, a clean finger or cotton bud. Leave for about 2 minutes then spit out excess without rinsing. Avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after use.
