The Curaprox Perio Plus interdental brushes are designed for cleaned the larger spaces that those with gum disease (periodontal disease) experience. The brushes are ‘firmer’ than the Prime brushes, have an angled handle and are available in larger sizes.
If you have ‘black triangle’ spaces between your teeth or a significant amount of bone loss and gum recession, these are for you 🙂
Use before toothbrushing and follow the shape of the gum to clean underneath the contact point between teeth.
These kits include a UHS universal holder 451 and 5 brush heads (select your size). Prime refills will also fit this handle. Cleaning thoroughly between teeth everyday should be an important part of your oral hygiene routine to ensure oral health and fresh breath.

Clean between first – brush teeth after. Unless you have been advised otherwise by a dental professional, floss/clean between teeth first, then brush your teeth with a fluoride toothpaste. Spitting out after brushing, but not rinsing will give maximum opportunity for the fluoride (and other ingredients e.g. for sensitivity), to work.
The gum area between teeth is very susceptible to inflammation. Bacteria can mature undisturbed underneath where two teeth are in contact and irritate the gums and cause inflammation. Inflammation causes gums to bleed spontaneously or when brushed and is an early sign of gum disease. Healthy gums don’t bleed! Tooth surfaces between teeth are at increased risk of tooth decay where sugary food sticks and bacteria break down the sugars into acids that cause decay.
